CONFERENCE OF GENDER ASSOCIATION

The College hosted a conference on Gender issues on April 27 with the theme: GENDER RESPONSIVENESS FOR CAPACITY BUILDING IN A DEPRESSED ECONOMY.

The conference was well attended.

Some personalities including Ugo Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha and Dr. B. C. Ijioma were made fellows of the Association. Others include Professor V. A. Obasi of Imo State University, Prof. Nzewi, Prof Akuma Nnani, Dr. C. U. Njoku of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede. The Imo State Commissioner for Education Hon. Ego Oduka and Hon. Oguwuike were also recipients.
